Bush's Admin Assistant: Nancy Pelosi

Nancy Pelosi worked all night to make sure Bush was comfortably accommodated during his major market screw-ups through deregulation mistakes. And when Bush needed to cover up 30 counts of felonies, Nancy Pelosi, the little trooper that she is, loyally lied to the American people so little Bushie wouldn't get impeached due to his criminal behavior. Bushie wanted off-shore drilling, no problem"o", Nancy lead Bushie's need to over-turn 40 years of off-shore drilling laws. Now Bush had a desire for fictious, non-productive oversight to give away $ 700 Billion to friends and relations, that was easily enough accommodated for, because we all know by now that Dems don't do oversight. Not ever, no way, no how!

Time for Ms. "Know Your Power" Nancy Pelosi to go join Tom Daschle and Phil Gramm in the private sector industry. Nancy Pelosi has turned out to be the best friend Bush and Cheney ever had, next to Bill Clinton.

Update from the New York Times:

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Democrat of California Speaker of the House

"When was the last time someone asked you for $700 billion? It is a number that is staggering, but tells us only the costs of the Bush Administration's failed economic policies -- policies built on budgetary recklessness, on an anything goes mentality, with no regulation, no supervision, and no discipline in the system."

Yes, $ 700 Billion is a staggering amount alright, so why is Nancy gladly going to hand the money over, no questions asked?

In order to prove a point, that Bush is in fact reckless? It's all quite stupid really, and we see that the Netroots are wildly cheering on this "Bush policy"with glee. The netroots have suddenly found a new love for Dubya and all his failed policies, even accepting Bush's wiretapping right along with his investment bank failure extreme bailout plan. Odd too, that suddenly the GOP now finds that Bush and his policies are toxic. Well it certainly took them long enough, but it's far too late of course. Poor John McCain - so feebly old is he, that he hasn't yet caught the new change in the direction of the wind.
